GED TEST - Mississippi High School Equivalency Diploma

Adult Basic Education/GED Testing:

The Adult Education Programs administered by the State Board for Community and Junior Colleges are designed to offer opportunities that will enhance the skills and abilities of individuals preparing for the workforce or preparing for additional educational opportunitites. To be competitive in today's work environment, it is essential that individuals prepare themselves in the areas of math, reading, writing, communmication, teamwork and computer skills. The Adult Education programs will provide the needed assistance in developing these skills and abilities for individuals to move effectively into diverse work settings.


General Requirements MS GED Online Course or On-Site Classes

  • Must be a Mississippi resident with a current MS address
  • Must be 17 years of age or older and not required to be enrolled in school under the MS Compulsory School Attendance Law
  • 17-yr-olds must provide an official withdrawal form from last school attended
  • Must not be presently enrolled in any public, private, or home school program
  • Must have proof of age--MS driver's license, MS ID card from Highway Patrol, or birth certificate
  • Provide school records upon request
